🚨 Emergency Blog 🚨

The Giants have signed free agent Darnell Mooney.

I need to be up front here as this is my first emergency blog. I am like 8-10 beers deep at a bar. This crossed my bow and I have to do this. This is a huge signing with major implications.

I was very upset when we let Wandale Robinson walk. He is a very talented slot receiver and had chemistry with Dart and was good for his development. He will probably regret leaving Dart who just threw him his best season in the league but maybe Cam Ward will find as much use of him as Dart did. Even “blind as a bat” Daniel Jones found a way to get him the ball and when he did it was like the best offense we had all game.

A young star like dart NEEDS people who can catch a ball on the sideline at the opponent’s 30 and make a man miss and run it in for a touchdown. I am specifically talking about that one play Wandale had against the eagles in the game we won at home. Mooney is already what Wandale was about to be / could become.

And beyond that-

Darnell Mooney is about to become a top 20 receiver in the nfl. Mooney spent his first three(?) seasons in Chicago, before Caleb Williams and before Chicago decided to stop being a joke of a franchise. He then went to Atlanta for the last 2(?) seasons. Both garbage situations. I may not be certain on how many seasons in Atlanta but I am certain that he is a touchdown scorer. Do you know how broken the Falcons are?

I repeat - do you KNOW how BROKEN the Falcons are? It’s boardering on Browns (btw, if you didn’t know the Browns are a fake team that the nfl either created as a scapegoat or it developed into one and now it’s a place to send their “problems” to. Look at Kareem Hunt, DeSean Watson, OBJ, Shadeur Sanders, Baker Mayfield (they sent him there to die), and the list goes on). Anyways the Falcons, they just signed Tua to maybe start in the stead of Michael Penix, who is already ass, after committing to Penix who they drafted after signing Kirk Cousins and everyone was like wtf. I’ve got Falcon fan friends who are at least smarter than my Jets friends to realize they are watching an unprofessional franchise. There’s no hope. They should probably have just done the Kirk Cousins thing to begin with and wait for the right moment to rebuild. Maybe Arch Manning next year. But they’re in hell and they have been.

The single solitary bright spot is Darnell Mooney. He’s not your big splashy WR1, he’s literally not “big” at 5 foot 11 but he is absolutely clutch. He is an immediate improvement on this offense over Wandale and is about to have the best season of his life.

He may lead the giants in touchdowns. I pray for Malik to be great again but Mooney is going to get FED in the redzone.

My friends are yelling at me because I’ve been blogging. Back to my Guinness. If anyone has a bet on Saturday night March 14th comment it and I will take it blindly.
